The Al-Rajhi Agricultural Project affiliated to the ‘Sheikh Saleh Al-Rajhi Endowment’ contains 200,000 palm trees, and it is the largest date palm project in the world according to the Guinness Book of Public Information and Records in May 2005. It is located in Buraidah, Al-Qassim. The endowment of Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi charitable foundation provides dates, tea, and coffee to pilgrims of Masjid Al Haram & Masjid Al Nabawi for free throughout the year.
Sheikh Salih Al Rajhi (seen in image 5) passed away in 2011. His younger brother and co founder Sheikh Suleiman Al Rajhi (image 6) is now the inheritor of the company and charity.
