About The Pigeons Of The Two Holy Mosques (Makkah and Medinah)

Admin
Do you know that it is not permissible to kill the pigeons of the Two Holy Mosques (Makkah and Medina), nor to hunt them or terrorize them? For the Almighty says: “O you who have believed, do not kill the game while you are sacred. It is judged by two just men among you as a gift amounting to the Ka'bah, or an expiation, feeding the poor, or the equivalent of that is fasting, so that he may taste and mind. His affair, may Allah forgive what has gone before, and whoever returns, Allah will take revenge on him. And Allah is Mighty, Possessor of revenge. Al-Ma’idah 95.

"On this day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

Judge Al-Maliki Ibn Al-Arabi, may Allah Almighty have mercy on him, said:

And killing: every act that kills the soul, and it is of different types: including slaughtering, slaughtering, suffocation, bruising, and the like, so Allah Almighty forbids the forbidden in hunting every act that kills the soul. End quote from Ahkaam.
As for the expiation for the killing of hunting, it came with “or”, which indicates the choice; Where Allah Almighty said: “And whoever of you kills him deliberately, his reward is like the blessings he killed, as judged by those among you who are just as a gift amounting to a cake.” Or an expiation, feeding the poor, or is it equivalent to fasting, so that he may taste it, and by his command, may Allah forgive what has gone before, and whoever repeats it, then God will take vengeance on him. By God, He is Mighty, Possessor of revenge / 95.
