Adjustments to Isha and Fajr Prayer Timings in Ramadan for Worshippers’ Ease

Admin

Ramadan is a special time of devotion, reflection, and increased acts of worship for Muslims around the world. To facilitate ease for worshippers, particularly during the Taraweeh and Suhoor hours, the time between the Adhaan and Iqama for the Isha and Fajr prayers will be adjusted to 15 minutes throughout the blessed month.

This change is aimed at providing worshippers with a more convenient schedule, ensuring they have ample time for rest while still maintaining their spiritual routines. Since Ramadan nights are filled with prayers, Quran recitation, and additional acts of worship, reducing the waiting time between the Adhaan and Iqama allows for a smoother transition between prayers and other obligations.

For Isha, this adjustment enables worshippers to begin Taraweeh prayers earlier, preventing unnecessary delays that may affect their rest. Likewise, shortening the interval for Fajr ensures that worshippers can complete their prayer and focus on Suhoor without unnecessary gaps.

We encourage everyone to take full advantage of this blessed month, making the most of their prayers and devotion. May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds, and grant us the strength to maximize our worship during this sacred time.
